The Kolkata High Court has annulled the jobs of more than 25,000 teachers in the alleged 2016 recruitment scam. While the BJP is busy crucifying the ruling Trinamool Congress on this, a viral audio clip of a conversation between BJP leader and Bengal LoP Suvendu Adhikari’s brother Dibyendu Adhikari (a former Trinamool Congress MP) and an unknown person has gone viral on social media. Newsz Now has not verified the contents of the audio clip.

The person on the other side of the call identified himself as a resident of Purba Medinipur’s Haldia and claimed that he got his job after paying a bribe of Rs 12 lakh to Suvendu Adhikari. He said that the money was paid to Suvendu’s aide, Proloy Paul.

He reportedly told Dibyendu Adhikari that Suvendu is the one responsible for their woes and that no one would respond to his call to gherao the chief minister’s residence.

The person has been identified as Sumit Patra. The audio clip has put the state BJP in a tough spot.
