Saudi Arabia upsets Argentina with two great goals
Saudi Arabia humbled the mighty Argentina 2-0 in the biggest upset of the Qatar World Cup so far.
Two second-half goals saw the Green Falcons defeat Messi’s stars. Saleh Al-Shehri and Salem Al-Dawsari were the heroes for the former.
The first half and most of the second were all about Argentina. A foul saw Messi slot in the resultant penalty in the first half but that was the only one they could manage despite attacking most of the time.
Saudi Arabia had only two shots on target and both resulted in goals. The La Albiceleste also had three first-half goals disallowed for being off-side.
