Sandeshkhali is Suvendu’s ploy: Blurts out BJP leader
The mass rape allegations recorded in Bengal’s Sandeshkhali against the now-arrested Trinamool leader Sheikh Shahjahan and his acolytes are all fake–a BJP leader has claimed in a video now going viral on social media. NewszNow has not verified the contents of the video.
The video released by the All India Trinamool Congress on X shows the BJP mandal president of Sandeshkhali-II block, Gangadhar Koyal saying everything was orchestrated according to the BJP leader and leader of opposition in the Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari’s instructions.
“We got it done as per the instructions of Suvendu da, he helped us,” Koyal can be heard saying in the video (translated from the Bengali).
Koyal has claimed that Adhikari’s presence had given fuel to the protests and that the BJP leader had supplied them with cash and mobile phones to keep the strikes running.
He has also said that the BJP was successful in “brainwashing” the villagers and all of it was Suvendu’s ploy to bring Trinamool to its knees.
Meanwhile, Trinamool National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee is scheduled to address a press conference from the party’s headquarters in Beleghata. It is anticipated that he will talk about this shocking revelation.
