Election strategist and now-budding politician Prashant Kishor (popularly called PK) reportedly called senior Trinamool Congress leader and MLA Tapas Roy after the later resigned from the party, citing disgruntlement and anger towards the party leadership.

It is being said that Roy couldn’t pick PK’s call up the first time, but talked to him for quite a while some time later.

The details of their discussions are unknown.

Tapas Roy had publicly expressed his anger before against Trinamool Congress’s North Kolkata MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay, and said that the party didn’t pay heed when his home was raided by the Enforcement Directorate and that it was Sudip who had “orchestrated” the raid.
