November 4, 2023 | < 1 min read

Responding to the grievances of many fans about not getting tickets for the India versus South Africa match at Eden Gardens Stadium tomorrow (which many say hints at a big scam), Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has opened the gates of his official residence, Raj Bhavan to fans.

A ‘Janata Cricket Stadium’, in the form of giant screens on the large open ground, would be set up on the Raj Bhavan grounds. Only the first 500 applicants to the show would be admitted.

  • Raj Bhavan will open its gates from 12 pm to 2 pm, when the match starts.
  • Five hundred people will be admitted.
  • Besides first-come-first-served, people can also apply for entry online.
  • The email address is [email protected].
  • Government-issued identity documents like Aadhaar, driving license, etc. should be included in the email and will have to be produced at the gate.
