India to host Miss World 2023
India will host the 2023 edition of the Miss World competition. With this, the competition will be returning to India after a gap of 27 years.
The decision was announced on the Instagram account of Miss World Organisation by Julia Morley, the organisation’s chairperson and CEO.
India had hosted it in 1996, when it was held in Bengaluru. This year’s venue has not been decided yet, but it is expected to be held in November or December.
Though the United Arab Emirates was chosen as the host in February, the decision was reversed and India was named as the host country.
