Ever since the release of the stunning teaser for Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated action extravaganza, Pushpa: The Rule, the second part of the Pushpa franchise, on the actor’s birthday, which was on April 8, it has become a major talking point across social media. The immense buzz and anticipation surrounding the sequel, coupled with the impactful teaser, have led to unprecedented pre-release deals nationwide.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the franchise, shared the teaser link while wishing the star on his birthday.

Recently, reports emerged that prominent Bollywood distributor Anil Thadani has acquired the Hindi theatrical rights of the Telugu-language film for a staggering Rs 200 crore, setting an all-time record deal surpassing the films of even the biggest names in Bollywood, the Khans.

Speculations suggest that the film’s digital rights have been sold to the streaming giant Netflix for the record-breaking sum of Rs 250 crore, surpassing the record set by Rajamouli’s RRR.

Prime Video has already seen significant returns from the first instalment, Pushpa: The Rise, whose digital rights it holds.
