Hangzhou Asian Games: Indian women’s cricket team clinches gold

The India women’s cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by 19 runs to win the gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

India batted first in the 20-over match, scoring 116 runs. Sri Lanka could only manage 97 in response.

Smriti Mandhana was the top scorer for India with 46 runs, while Titas Sadhu took 3 wickets in her four overs.
