Debasree Roy to star in Hoichoi’s latest – Chemistry Mashi
The seasoned actor Debasree Roy is venturing into the realm of OTT with Hoichoi’s Chemistry Mashi. Directed by Sourav Chakraborty, the series depicts the journey of a woman in her late 50s who decides to forge her own path.
Debasree portrays Sucharita, who rekindles her passion for chemistry by creating an engaging online channel, ‘Chemistry Mashi,’ where she imparts lessons to class 11 and 12 students in a distinctive and relatable manner.
As her popularity skyrockets, she expands her teaching to include students preparing for entrance examinations. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when one of the question papers she suggests coincidentally matches that in an actual examination, leading to accusations of a question paper leak.
The series is set to release sometime in June or July this year, industry insiders said.
