Monsoon session of Parliament to begin on July 18
The dates for the monsoon session of Parliament were announced by the Lok Sabha secretariat on Thursday, June 30.
It will start on July 18 and end on August 13, for a total of 18 days. Since the COVID-19 pandemic is more or less under control, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha sessions would be held simultaneously, like normal.
With a productivity of just 21 per cent, the 2021 Lok Sabha monsoon session was the least productive of the last two decades.
