Kolkata emerges as the top hiring city
Kolkata has emerged at the top of the list of job postings in May 2023, as per a report by the major HR consultancy, foundit (previously Monster India & APAC).
Not only that, from May to June, there has been a huge growth of 12 per cent in job postings on foundit.com, largely on account of increased BPO hiring.
Compared to Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR have seen a rise in job postings, from May to June, of 3 per cent and Mumbai of 4 per cent.
Overall, the healthcare, IT, BPO, manufacturing and logistics sectors witnessed the maximum e-recruitment activity in June.
