Jain Group to invest Rs 500 crore in Bengal’s hospitality sector

The Jain Group, a renowned real estate developer headquartered in Kolkata, will allocate Rs 500 crore in Bengal by 2030 to enhance its footprint in the hospitality sector.

Partnering with Sarovar Hotels Pvt. Ltd., the group is set to introduce a new hotel, Sarovar Portico in Rajarhat in July, with an initial investment of approximately Rs 120 crore. Sarovar Hotels will oversee its management. The new establishment will offer 128 rooms across four categories: suites, premium, deluxe and standard.

The group aims to incorporate 1,000 hotel rooms by 2030, covering a spectrum from upscale mid-market to luxury segments across Bengal. Additionally, the company intends to unveil three more hotels in Siliguri, Durgapur and Joka in Kolkata.
