INDIA bloc begins its third meeting
The INDIA bloc of Opposition parties began its two-day conclave in Mumbai today to discuss plans for the 2024 general elections. This is the third such meeting of INDIA.
As many as 63 representatives from 28 political parties are part of the gathering. It is expected that more regional parties opposed to the BJP will join the group.
The proposed agenda for the two-day meeting:
1) Finalisation of the logo for the alliance
2) Decisions on organisational structuring of INDIA
a. Formation of coordination committee
b. Formation of a secretariat for election management
c. Decision on forming a research wing
d. Appointment of spokespersons
e. Formation of media and social media teams
f. Committee for national agenda
3) Common campaign issues
4) Joint action schedule
