Two bike rental startups founded by young entrepreneurs from Kolkata have obtained official approvals from the Bengal government to commence their operations, which would cater to Kolkata and its neighboring areas, focusing on two-wheelers.

BiGo, established by Ankit Nevatia and Ankit Jalan, provides rented two-wheelers with drivers, targeting various office-related tasks such as banking errands, package delivery, site visits and transportation for meetings.

BiGo’s fleet exclusively comprises electric two-wheelers, available for weekly and monthly packages spanning 10 hours per day. The rental rates, with a driver, are Rs 4,299 per week and Rs 14,999 per month.

The second venture, Radhashree Roadstars, led by Raghav Randar (with himself and Prabhu Dayal Randar as directors), offers motorbikes and scooters on rent without drivers, catering to individuals interested in short staycations within and around Kolkata, as well as more adventurous trips to destinations across the state, including the hilly regions, rivers, jungles and coastal areas.

With no drivers included, renters have exclusive access to the two-wheeler for a week or longer, depending on their requirements. The rental rate is Rs 600 per day.
