Trinamool Congress’s fact-finding mission would not be travelling to strife-torn Manipur today. The trip has been deferred to July 19 and 20 following a written request from the government of Manipur.

A team of four, comprising MPs Derek O’Brien, Kalyan Banerjee, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Dola Sen will be visiting the state. https://newsznow.in/trinamool-fact-finding-mission-for-manipur/?lang=en

As per an earlier tweet from Trinamool’s official handle, the party “will reach out to those affected and provide some healing comfort”, continuing in the same breadth that the so-called “‘double-engine’ state” has been “ignored” by the BJP government ever since the ethnic clashes between the Meiteis and the Kukis started on May 3.
