Panchayat election results today
The results for the 2023 Bengal panchayat election will be published today. The counting of votes will start early in the morning.
The elections were held across 22 districts (except Kolkata) on July 8. The State Election Commission (SEC) ordered re-elections at 697 polling booth on July 10.
Around 2 lakh candidates took part in the elections for approximately 73,887 seats in gram panchayats, panchayat samitis and zila parishads (zila parishad elections were not held in Darjeeling and Kalimpong as they are governed locally through the GTA).
The results will be updated on the WBSEC website, wbsec.gov.in.
