The second World Test Championship final started today at the Oval Cricket Ground in London. India is playing its second final, facing Australia this time. In 2021, Team India had lost to New Zealand, also at Lord’s.

A century from Travis Head and a half-century from Steve Smith handed Australia control of the World Test Championship final on the first day.

Head hit a blistering century on his way to 146 not out and, along with Steve Smith put on 251 for the fourth wicket.
