2023 IPL final postponed due to rain

May 29, 2023 | < 1 min read

The grand finale of the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League was disrupted due to rain. The final will be played tomorrow, which is the reserve day, at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Defending champions Gujarat Titans will try to make it two titles in a row in their first two seasons. However, they have a formidable opponent in the form of four-time champions and five-time runner-up Chennai Super Kings, for whom the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be playing his last match, both as captain and player.

Will Dhoni be adding his fifth title in his farewell appearance in the canary-yellow jersey? Or will Hardik Pandya’s side, with batter Shubman Gill in blazing form, prevail? It’s going to be another exciting final tomorrow.
