Sourav Ganguly makes it clear that he’s not joining BJP

In recent days, there has been a persistent rumour that the former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly would join BJP, or at least campaign for it in the Bengal Assembly election next year.

There is no doubt that the rumour has been amplified in a stealthy manner by the BJP itself.

However, on Monday, putting all speculations to rest, Sourav has reportedly conveyed to the BJP that he is least interested in joining the party as he is happy with his current work in cricket administration, and has his hands full with that.

In fact, this is not the first time. Such a rumour had started floating around before the 2019 Lok Sabha election as well, and then too the Ganguly had denied any plan on joining the saffron brigade.
