Madhyamik results published

The results of the Madhyamik examination (class 10) were published by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today. They were declared by the board’s president via a press conference at its headquarters.

The average pass percentage is an all-time high of 86.60 per cent, with Kalimpong district performing the best, with a pass percentage of 94.27 per cent. The next six, in descending order, are:

West Midnapore: 94.62%
Kolkata: 94.36%
Jhargram: 92.07%
North 24 Parganas: 91.98%
South 24 Parganas: 89.61%
Malda: 87.11%
