Monsoon session of Parliament from July 20

The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on July 20, as decided by the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs, informed Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday, July 1.

The session will conclude on Friday, August 11, therefore, spanning a little more than three weeks. It will comprise 17 sittings across 23 days.

According to sources, the session, interestingly, and perhaps for the only time, will begin in one building (old Parliament) and end in another building (new Parliament, inaugurated by PM Modi on May 28).
